The Eucharist of the Christian funeral will be held at 10:30 am on November 17, 2021 (Wednesday) in the Sacred Heart Church of St. Joseph’s Benedict Monastery for Sister Rosemary (Dominica) who died on November 10, 2021. Saint Scholastica Abbey in St. Cloud, Minnesota. The cremated remains will be buried in the cemetery of the monastery. The funeral has been entrusted to the Benson Funeral Home. Friends can visit Saint Scholastica Convent on Tuesday, November 16 for prayer service at 1:00 pm, and then visit until 4:15 pm, or at 7:00 pm for vigil prayer service at Saint Benedict’s Convent. The visit continued from 9 am until the funeral time on Wednesday, November 17.

Rosemary Lenneman was born on August 21, 1935 in St. Michael, Minnesota, the third child of Dominic and Dehmer Lenneman. She attended St. Michael's Elementary and High School. Entered the Benedictine monastery on September 9, 1954, was accepted as a Dominic nun on June 15, 1955 (later restored baptismal name), became the first monk on July 11, 1956, and became the first monk in July Permanent monk January 11, 1959. Her golden jubilee was celebrated on July 11, 2006, and her 60th anniversary was celebrated in 2016.

S. Rosemary graduated from St. Benedict’s College (CSB) in St. Joseph, Minnesota with a bachelor’s degree in basic education. He also studied at St. Cloud State University in St. Cloud and completed CPE in St. Cloud. course. . Joseph Hospital and Medical Center in Tacoma, Washington and Lutheran Hospital in Eau Claire, Wisconsin.

Education has been the main ministry of S. Rosemary for many years. She has worked as an educator at St. Augustine's School in St. Cloud, Sobieski, Cold Spring, St. Joseph's School in Minneapolis, Melrose, Richmond, and St. Anthony's School in St. Cloud. Over the years, she has held many other positions, including serving as a nurse's assistant in the Saint Benedict Monastery, providing food service in the CSB cafeteria, and serving as a receptionist and housekeeping service in the Saint Raphael Monastery. At the Abbey of Saint Benedict, she worked as a part-time receptionist and steward at the Benedictine Resource Center and Archives, and engaged in calligraphy. She participated in the pastoral care of St. Cloud, the elderly community of St. Benedict, and volunteered at Americare Nursing Home and Sterling Park Commons (both in White Park, Minnesota), where she visited, prayed with residents and read aloud to them As an encouragement to creative writing. S. Rosemary himself likes to read and write poems. In 2010, she moved to Saint Scholastica Convent, where she worked in prayer and community life.

S. Rosemary survived in the company of her Benedictine community and sisters Imogene Lenneman, Frances Brazil, Anita Lenneman and Dalene Lenneman, niece and nephew. Before her death, her parents, her brother James and her sister Irma Pierre died.
