This cider company has an interesting origin story.

The owners and siblings, Elise and Eric, named the company after their father and his late uncle. When they were growing up, they hid their homemade hard cider from Aunt Bobby in stumps.

The phrase ‘let’s go blow up some stumps’ became code for backyard swilling because the cider was so strong it could actually blow up stumps. Fast forward to today and you’ll find a variation of this cider in-house.

OSB Ciderworks is based in Lakeville and opened their Buffalo location in December of 2020. Before you visit them on Main Street, you can take an online tour.

The cider here is made from New York apples and other local ingredients. You’ll find up to 16 rotating ciders all made at their Lakeville location when you visit their Buffalo location. Plus, they make unique cider cocktails, like the Lake Shark which combines two different ciders.

If not everyone in your group of friends drinks cider, that’s okay. They also have local beer, canned cocktails, and canned wine options for non-cider drinkers.

You’ll only find silly snacks when you visit this bar, but you can BYOF (bring your own food or order in).

You’ll find an assortment of board games and old school Nintendo here. Plus, classic cartoons are usually playing on the TVs.

What better way to stay warm this winter than rocking out in some new apparel? OSB had long sleeved t-shirts, hats, and more to keep you in style this season.

If you like fun and different events, you’ll like this place. They love hosting creative events like Build Your Own Cloud Light. And yes, that’s exactly what it sounds like.

If your pup is friendly, he or she is welcome at OSB Ciderworks. They love dogs so much, they even have their own house dog best known as @sirglenister on Instagram.

P.S. Stop by OSB Ciderworks on Sunday for the St. Patrick’s Day Parade for drinking festivities!
